Island Series Vlll

These three works draw on memories of the landscape of a small town in the Northwest of Iceland called Skagaströnd and nearer to home Rottnest Island. Two islands harbouring histories of loss and suppression. Both beautiful fragile environments with questionable futures. The drawings are densely layered with a reverse palette of whites emerging out of the surface.
